Navigating As We Age Workshop
You're invited! This event is hosted in partnership with our building hosts, Calvary Presbyterian Church, and open to everyone.
Tuesdays, 11:00am-12:30 pm (January 21 - April 1)
Registration is required. $50 fee for full course, with full scholarships available for Members of the Café.
An 11-week course with Michele Cook, RN to help explore, understand, and document ongoing legal, financial & health options that arise with aging. Specific topics include Maintaining Health, Emergency Planning, Legal Decisions, Social Connection & Aid, Levels of Care, Financial Decisions, Planning a Graceful Exit, Hospice and Creating a Life Plan for Peace of Mind.

A catered brunch and open house in celebration of RCR’s 2nd Year of operation and in appreciation for our dedicated core of volunteers. RSVP encouraged, but not a ticketed event. Members & friends of the café welcome! More details to follow.

Recovery Circles are a weekly time for members to check in and share where they are in their recovery journey. Attending a weekly meeting is a requirement of membership.

Yoga & Mindfulness Class
With assistance of instructional videos from The People's Yoga on-demand services, participants will strengthen their bodies, increase their mobility & flexibility, and learn breathing techniques to relieve tension in their daily lives. All skill levels welcome. Sign up at the Front Desk or try dropping in.

Peer Support Hours (Polly)
One-on-one time with a Peer Support Specialist or Certified Recovery Mentor, no appointment required. These are trained individuals with lived experience in recovery from substance abuse, mental health challenges, and/or other forms of trauma. They provide not only emotional support and encouragement, but practical help accessing health, employment, housing, and treatment services. They can also help you build skills of self-care, resiliency, and empowerment to help navigate the rocky patches on your road to recovery.

Recovery Circles are a weekly time for members to check in and share where they are in their recovery journey. Attending a weekly meeting is a requirement of membership.

Music Club
The music club is an informal group that meets weekly. People interested in music, be it learning how to play an instrument, vocal coaching, and music theory are welcome to attend. Everyone, beginner to advanced, is welcome to learn and/ or show off their skills. Topics are open as long as it relates to music. We have guitarists, keyboardists, and singers attending as well as just the curious. This is a place to learn and experience the universal language of music in all forms. Bring your instruments, a keyboard is provided.
